  5. Pennsylvania Lottery System Down For Hours

    Pennsylvania Lottery officials say the statewide computer network that sells terminal-based games and validates winning tickets was unavailable from 6 a.m. this morning until 11am causing some stores to turn customers away.  The Lottery and its vendor, Scientific Games International, are working to resolve the problem, which is affecting all of Lottery's approximately 8,500 retailers. At this time, they are unsure when the system will be back online.
