    Nearly a hundred roads in Dauphin County alone are closed because of high waters.  The Hershey area was hit hard by flooding especially along the Swatara Creek.  The continuing rain and rising waters are going to play havoc with driving and living in many areas.

    Due to the historic flooding in our area, the FOX43 High School Football Frenzy has been cancelled for Friday, 9/9 at 6pm.  We apologize for the change.  FOX43 would like to thank all the voters who participtated in the game of the week voting.  Our winner was Garden Spot at Dover.

  7. Bison Euthanized at Zoo America

    A Hersheypark spokesperson confirmed to FOX43 that two Bison at Zoo America were euthanized Wednesday.  Zoo America closed its doors at noon due to the worsening weather. The area that housed the Bison began to flood, too quickly according to the spokesperson.  Zoo America officials feared that the animals were about to drown. It was decided to euthanize the animals.
