1. Chesney Has 12th #1 Debut Album

<span style="font-size: small;">Kenny Chesney’s latest album, Life On A Rock, has struck a chord with fans - it debuted as the #1 album on the Billboard country music charts – and the Top 200 Albums chart! It managed to sell over 150,000 copies, but when Kenny began this record, he did not intend for the personal tracks to reach fans. “I wrote all these songs knowing that the majority of them would never see the light of day on a radio station or in my show. And that goes against all conventional wisdom and all the thinking in our business! You know what I mean? It really does. But it allowed me to be really honest with my fans and tell them stories and open up some doors that I haven’t — and that felt really good. You know?”Life On A Rock marks Kenny’s 7th Top 200 album debut, and his 12th consecutive #1 Billboard country albums chart debut. His current single, “Pirate Flag,” is featured on the project.

  3. People's Most Beautiful: Taylor, Tim & Carrie Make List

<span style="font-size: small;">People magazine's latest issue reveals their picks for the Most Beautiful Celebrities in 2013, and a few of country music's biggest stars made the cut. Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Tim McGraw were each recognized for their stunning good looks, but like everyone else, they admit they haven't always felt secure with their own appearance. "I'm pretty pale," Taylor confesses to People (quote via Lancaster, Pa. radio station WIOV). "In high school, I was insecure and thought it'd be cool to go to a tanning bed. Now, I just let it look the way it looks." Carrie admits that even though she has graced magazine covers and often appears on best-dressed lists, it took finding her soul mate to accept her true beauty. "I've spent a fair share of money on creams and makeup to help minimize my scars," the songstress reveals. "Then I met [husband] Mike Fisher. He made me feel loved and beautiful ... scars and all." Tim, the husband of beautiful Faith Hill, credits keeping up a rigorous workout regime and abstaining from alcohol with helping him look his best, and still downplays his rugged good looks. "Thank God for country music," he jokes. "That's my reaction, because I sure wouldn't be picked standing on the street corner. It's a good thing I've got a guitar in my hand up under the lights." Reba McEntire, who at age 58 still turns heads, is also named in a special Beautiful at Every Age feature. People's Most Beautiful issue will be on newsstands April 26.
