    George Ryder David Jr., 90, husband of Caroline Crase David, died at his home on July 9, 2011.&nbsp; He was a former employee of Barrett Sewing factory, Sargant and Greenleaf and Jessamine County Animal Control. Mr. David served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and in the Army in World War II.&nbsp; Additional survivors include his children, Georgia and husband Morris Wayne, Ricky and wife Beverly David, Vickie and husband Tim Hurt and Micki and husband Jack Gill, all of Nicholasville; a step son, Gary Crase-Danville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Coffey David; grandchildren, Rusty Wayne, Kathy Wayne Hall, Randy David, Kellie David Sanford, Michael David, Michelle David Fain, Rick David, Andrew Hurt, Tony Hurt, Jaclynn Gill Davis, John Gill; a step grandson, Ryan Bailey; numerous great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years Elizabeth Donathan David, a son Jerry David and a step daughter, Mary Ann Crase Bailey.&nbsp; Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Betts &amp; West Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Baker and Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating. Burial followed in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. today. Grandchildren will serve as bearers. Online guest book at www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
