  17. $50 Million For Hurricane Sandy Relief - Benefit Concert On iTunes

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Organizers of last week&rsquo;s 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert have yet to declare the total amount raised, but did announce the first $50 million is ready to be distributed to several organizations working to provide relief for those affected by the storm, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Robin Hood Foundation is in charge of funneling the money the concert raised through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, online auctions of memorabilia and phone and online donations. Also, twenty-four of the finest performances from last week&rsquo;s 12-12-12 Superstorm Sandy relief concerts have been selected for inclusion on 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief, available now on iTunes, and on CD on January 22. The tracklist includes one song from Paul McCartney, two each from Bruce Springsteen &amp; the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones, three apiece from The Who and Billy Joel and four from Roger Waters.
