    A total of 66 volunteers of all ages came out recently to plant 450 tree seedlings at Bethel Landfill in Hampton. The seedlings were planted in the buffer strip between the landfill and I-64. They were native evergreens with one exception, selected for their habitat value and their ability to help provide a screen between the landfill and the interstate.
