1. 'Artrageous' fashion and street food fun

Macy's Passport presents Glamorama took flight "Like a G6" with performances by Far East Movement and Grammy Award-winner Cee Lo Green at the Chicago Theatre. The sold-out event lived up to its reputation with guests viewing fall fashion by Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel, Papi, Tracy Reese, Armani Jeans and Bar III. The event raised more than $350,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana in their efforts building the world's largest Ronald McDonald House. I was proud to be the honorary chairwoman for this event.

  16. Fashion Diary: Tribal influences for fall

Much of what's out there for fall looks like it could have been ripped from the pages of Cowboys and Indians magazine: arrow print maxi-skirts, blanket-stripe ponchos, suede jackets with swinging fringe, cowboy booties and T-shirts with more Navajo patterns than Ralph Lauren's RRL ranch.

  18. What denim brands are slipping into

Denim, a simple, sturdy and relatively inexpensive material, has been associated with manual labor for much of its 200-plus-year history in the United States. But the indigo-dyed cotton fabric has undergone a transformation in the last few decades, appearing in garments as diverse as sleek, tailored pants acceptable at a red carpet event and fleece "jeans" that teeter between weekend wear and sleepwear.
