    I went to a cartoonist dinner the other night in Westport and had a great time and a lot of laughs. My wife and I sat at a table with Randall Enos and Chance Brown who told the most outrageously funny stories about the cartoonists in the Golden Age of cartooning, the period that ended maybe around 1975. We're in the Pewter Age now, as in computer. Or, maybe it's the Carbon Fiber Age, I don't know. Whatever it is, we're not smoking 20 cigars a day and dropping BB's down the backs of coworkers.
