      And by post-Thanksgiving, I mean literally right after Thanksgiving dinner. After a day of rest and giving thanks, families were left with satisfied stomachs and insatiable shopping appetites. Lucky for those consumers, several stores began Black Friday extra early; Walmart and Sears started their holiday deals at 8 p.m. on Thursday, while Target opened its doors to eager shoppers at 9 p.m. Other retail giants including Macy’s and Best Buy opted to host their sales in traditional midnight-madness style.
