1. Writers - any plans for the weekend?

Writers -- If you're planning on checking out the <a href="http://www.tihr.com/mytimeshow/showfair/" target="_blank">MyTime Women's Show at the Hampton Roads Convention Center tomorrow (Sat., Jan. 12), I'd love to meet you and chat about writing. Also, if you're interested in having a new release featured in Writers' Block, or you have some news you'd like us to share, l'd be happy to take your information in person. I'll be there with a couple of my blogging buddies, Southampton County author Nancy Naigle ("Sweet Tea & Secrets") and Richmond author Tina Glasneck ("Thou Shall Not"). Look for me in booth 98, next to the auto exhibit.

I wanted to get out of poverty and live in some place magical. It seemed to me that if you wanted to be raised by wolves and have Akela be your pal, the world of "The Jungle Book" would be it."
