  1. Tax refund: Spend or save?

Why do we put up with all the tax-season crap again? Oh, right, because it's the law. And because we might just get a big ol' refund out of it. But once you've got the cash, you have to answer one more question: How to spend it? Young Money columnist Megan Crepeau and RedEye digital producer Ernest Wilkins have some ideas...

  3. Advice: How do I get this guy to sleep with me?

<strong id=&quot;tinymce" class="mceContentBody " dir="ltr">So I met this guy about a month ago, and we dig each other. He's not looking for a relationship, and I'm not going to waste my energy trying to make him, so we're basically in the "friends with benefits" stage. The "benefits," however, only go so far. We've had several steamy makeout sessions in the car outside my house (with all the high school flashbacks included), but no sex. After one of these sessions, he told me he was having sex with someone else, and that it was a random, no-emotions arrangement. But we couldn't have sex because he felt guilty about having sex with two people at once. I should mention I'm polyamorous and do, in fact, sleep with more than one person. I would like him to be one of those people. My question is twofold: What the [bleep], is this dude stupid? And, I can't believe I'm saying this, how do I get this guy to sleep with me?--Benefit-less in Chicago</strong>

  5. 'Dancing With the Stars' recap, Jacoby charms and Andy Dick brings the tears

Last week was &quot;Prom Night" and mercifully Wynonna went home. Tonight is "The Best Year of Your Life," and I'm already prepared to feel decrepit and ancient when Aly and Zendaya pick from their limited number of years.

  9. Connecticut Hoop Coaches Agree: Rutgers' Mike Rice Was Way Out Of Line

Mike Rice had to be fired. He repeatedly demeaned young men. He abused his position of authority. He not only violated the ideals of coaching, he ran roughshod through the boundaries of common human decency.

  11. Round 1, Jan. 5: It's Notre's Game - Unlike The One With Stanford, This Matchup Delivered On Its Promises

Truth is, women's basketball needed this. The Big East certainly needed it.  They needed a game to feel good about between national powers, archrivals, conference antagonists who pulsed and punched from start to finish.     They got it.     They...

  15. The Second City mainstage cast on its 101st revue, 'Let Them Eat Chaos'

As hard as we try, we can't always control how we&mdash;collectively and as individuals&mdash;are perceived or what our path through the world will be. Those twists and turns form the through-line of The Second City's 101st mainstage revue, &quot;Let Them Eat Chaos," which journeys across time on cruise ships, in dive bars, at violin lessons and all over Chicago to shed some light&mdash;and some humor&mdash;on the confusion.
