1. Game-day finery at Wrigley

At Wrigley Field it's hard to find a man, woman or child who isn't showing some Cubs spirit. From Cubs-colored braces on their teeth or polish on their nails, to more conventional jerseys, caps, tote bags and T-shirts, here's a look at some enthusiastic fans at a recent game.

Given the option, every woman wants to look fashionable. I'm not talking about trendy. Trendy is the look that comes, then goes before we can recoup our investment. Fashionable is stylish, polished, modern but definitely not throw-out-everything-in-...

5. Rain gear guide for guys

Nothing is simple any more. Getting on (and off) an airplane, changing channels on your TV, figuring out why the "check engine" light keeps flashing on your dashboard. Oh, it's such a long list.

7. Short skirt could truncate career

Dear Angel: Do you have any thoughts about the proper skirt length for an office these days? A lovely young woman, recently out of college, has begun working in our office, and she wears her skirts very short. I don't know how she can sit down. That said, she's very bright, personable and has a great figure and looks good in the skirts, once you get past the fact there's nothing to them. But I fear the shortness may be affecting her in negative ways. I've overheard guys, including her bosses, joking about it, and frankly I don't want her held back because of the way she dresses. But I feel that I would be interfering to say anything to her (or look like a jealous busybody — help! I'm only 42!) Any ideas about how to handle this?

9. These fakes offer foolproof fun

When it comes to beauty and fashion, it's all about artifice and deception. In a good way.

11. Are these exercise gizmos a good fit?

About half the country has made a New Year's resolution to get fit. The other half is thinking about it.
About half the country has made a New Year's resolution to get fit. The other half is thinking about it. With that in mind, I rang in 2011 with my own resolution: to check out some of the most popular As Seen on TV exercise gizmos to see if they would do...

You've been bad. Very bad. You know it, and you told me so. You've crammed your purse with way too much "stuff"— you had another more expressive word for it — and now you've got the exhaustion, sore shoulders and aching back to prove it. "Am...
