    Despite a late charge by Wichita, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees held off the Thunder and won Game three Wednesday night 5-2 at State Farm Arena. Dustin Donaghy and Kevin Young provided the offense for the Thunder in the losing effort. Wichita still leads the series 2-1 and will look to avenge the loss tomorrow night in Game 4.

    Wichita (28-12-2) used a three-goal outburst in the first 14 minutes of the game to swat away the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (18-19-6) 4-1 Friday night at State Farm Arena. R.G.     Adam Russo upstaged fellow teammate Thomas Beauregard's two goal effort on Saturday night as the eight-year pro recorded his first shutout of the season, helping Wichita (16-7-0) beat Rio Grande Valley (10-10-4) at INTRUST Bank Arena, 3-0. Wichita has now won four straight, all on home ice and lead the league with 12 home wins. Coupled with an Allen loss, Wichita moves into a first place tie with the Americans in the Berry Conference with 32 points.
