  9. Another Surge of Mild Air

Despite a colder weekend and recent snowfall, another surge of mild air will push temperatures across the southern half of Lower Michigan into the 40s and 50s on Tuesday afternoon.  On Monday, readings hit 60 degrees as close to us as Peoria, in central Illinois.  A southwesterly breeze will help to transport warmer air into the Great Lakes Region, thereby continuing the mild weather pattern we’ve experienced most of this winter.
