  2. Kenny Chesney On Thanksgiving NFL Halftime

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Kenny Chesney will rock the halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys&rsquo; Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Redskins. It&rsquo;s the big kickoff for the 122nd year for theSalvation Army&rsquo;s Red Kettle Campaign, which Kenny says he&rsquo;s thrilled to be a part of this year. &ldquo;As we can see in our country today, everybody, a lot of people are in need. Even without what happened on the east coast. So I think that anybody that has been as blessed as I have been. I think that just being able to help and give back through music is the least you can do really so I&rsquo;m incredibly excited to be a part of that.&rdquo; Kenny&rsquo;s performance actually marks the 16th year of the Thanksgiving partnership between the Cowboys and the Salvation Army. In that time, the Red Kettle Campaign has raised more than $1.5 billion. Last year alone it raised more than $147 million and assisted more than 30 million people.   6. Country Stars Celebrate Halloween

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">It&rsquo;s that time of year again where country artists enjoy the Halloween spirit. A lot of them will enjoy a night filled with family and friends. Taylor Swift has a big week ahead of her with the CMA Awards. She admits that she hasn&rsquo;t even had time to plan her Halloween festivities, but last year&rsquo;s celebration was quite memorable.&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know what I&rsquo;m going to be doing for Halloween. All I remember about Halloween last year is that it&rsquo;s when I bought my cat. She&rsquo;s a Halloween cat. I didn&rsquo;t really dress up for anything last year - I just went out and bought a kitten.&rdquo; Carrie Underwood loves Halloween &ndash; and it&rsquo;s one of her favorite reasons to have a celebration. She hopes to catch up with a few friends. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll actually probably stop by a Halloween party if I have a little time. Everybody dresses up and it&rsquo;s kind of a big deal. I have a couple of friends that Halloween is their favorite holiday as well. So it&rsquo;s fun to get silly.&rdquo; Luke Bryan is excited to spend Halloween with his sons, Bo and Tate. He&rsquo;s even looking forward to learning a little bit more about his neighbors &ndash; with the help of trick-or-treating. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re looking forward to trick-or-treating, and doing it in our neighborhood. You can find out a lot about your neighbors by what kind of candy they put out. So, well, like full bars of Snickers bars, that&rsquo;s what, and Reese&rsquo;s cups, [but] the old chocolate popcorn ball of stuff, that&rsquo;s no good either, like Dots &ndash; you get Dots one time of year and they pull your teeth.&rdquo;</span>

  8. Lady Antebellum - A Birthday And A Holiday Album

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">First...Happy 31st birthday to Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley! Also Lady A will release a holiday album titled, On This Winter&rsquo;s Night. It is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit with classic songs such as &ldquo;Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,&rdquo; &ldquo;The First Noel&rdquo; and &ldquo;Holly Jolly Christmas.&rdquo; The group recorded the tracks during the summer, and band member Dave Haywood admits they had to make a few adjustments in the studio to make the vibe just right! &ldquo;We recorded this record kind of in two sections, but both times were in the summertime, which is always weird to be in the studio in July and June. So, we decorated the entire studio, we really did. We brought out lights, little, you know fake trees all around and decorated the place to kind of get in the Christmas spirit. It was definitely a new adventure to record it.&rdquo; Lady A&rsquo;s On This Winter&rsquo;s Night will be available on October 22nd.</span>
