  1. Ono Fears Real-Life Meltdown at Upcoming Meltdown Festival

    <span style=&quot;font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: small;">The widow of <strong>John Lennon</strong> is concerned she&rsquo;ll suffer a breakdown while performing the final songs she recorded with her late husband for the first time at next month&rsquo;s Meltdown festival in London. <strong>Yoko Ono</strong>, who curated this year&rsquo;s festival, told BBC Radio, &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know (what will happen). I&rsquo;ve no idea. It&rsquo;s like a dark hole now. I might faint, or scream, or just be there. I don&rsquo;t know.&rdquo; Ono is scheduled to perform <em>Double Fantasy</em>, the last album she wrote and recorded with Lennon before the late <strong>Beatle</strong>&rsquo;s death in 1980.</span>

  4. S.C. Parade Has Mobile Outhouse and Cross-Dressers

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Floats at a lighthearted South Carolina Christmas parade included a jail cell float, two Grinches, a mobile outhouse and a cross-dresser named Fatback Queen. The 19th annual Boykin Parade, in the unincorporated Boykin community in rural Kershaw County, drew a crowd of thousands to view the animals, tractors, marching bands and unusual floats. &ldquo;The only thing organized about this parade is disorganization,&rdquo; joked Rowland Alston, a dignitary on the reviewing stand in downtown Boykin. The parade included a contingent of blue-clad Civil War re-enactors, a 55-piece marching band from Thomas Sumter Academy, a dog-themed float with the slogan &ldquo;Bark the Herald Angels Sing&rdquo; and representatives of local law enforcement agencies.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The Band Perry&rsquo;s Kimberly Perry will join Luke Bryan tonight to co-host CMA Music Festival: Country&rsquo;s Night to Rock! Luckily for Kimberly, she had the support from her band mates and brothers - Neil and Reid &ndash; to help her prepare for the gig! "Oh goodness, for me, I didn&rsquo;t know what a co-host was supposed to do. You see the pros like Carrie and Brad on the CMA Awards, and it&rsquo;s like well, &lsquo;You have some big shoes to fill.&rsquo; I actually practiced for my interviews because I had never done an interview before. You guys have a really tough job! Reid, Neil and I, they played Brad 1 and Brad 2 in the bus before I went out and did that and kind of threw me some curve balls. That&rsquo;s what I did to prepare.&rdquo;The show will feature live performances from the 2012 CMA Music Festival, by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum and more. Luke will share hosting duties with The Band Perry&rsquo;s Kimberly Perry, and he knows it&rsquo;s going to be an eventful week. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s probably going to be my busiest CMA Fest ever.   9. Big Acts Booked for Vegas Festival

    <strong>&nbsp;</strong>Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood are among the first artists revealed for the first-ever <em>iHeartRadio Music Festival</em> in Las Vegas on September 23<sup>rd</sup>-24<sup>th</sup>. More artists from a variety of genres will be added all summer. The event will also feature the Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay and Lady Gaga, among many others. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the festival will be held at the <em>MGM Grand Garden Arena</em>. Presale tickets are available at the festival&rsquo;s Facebook page. Tickets to the public will be available on Saturday, July 16<sup>th</sup>.
