Justin Brent didn't waste much time after receiving an offer from Notre Dame
The class of 2014 wide receiver from Speedway, Ind., was extended an offer from the Irish coaching staff on Friday when he visited campus, and he decided to commit on Monday.
Brent officially announced his commitment on Irish Sports Daily's Power Hour online radio show shortly after 7 p.m. EDT.
Brent becomes the second commitment in the 2014 class alongside Woodberry Forest, Va., linebacker Greer Martini.
The 6-foot-3, 189-pound wide receiver caught 40 passes for 819 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore for the Class 2-A Sparkplugs.
The offer from Notre Dame is the only offer that Brent currently holds, but he's also been recruited by schools such as Ohio State, Michigan, Northwestern and Louisville.
