Note: Tribune staff writer Bob Wieneke early last week spoke with
three analysts to discuss a number of topics concerning Notre Dame
football recruiting.

The following are answers from Rivals.com national recruiting analyst
Mike Farrell, CBS Sports Network analyst Tom Lemming and 247Sports.com
national recruiting writer Steve Wiltfong.

This is the third of three parts. For parts one and two, visit

-- Bob Wieneke: The Aaron Lynch transfer hurt from an on-field
standpoint. Does it affect recruiting?

Mike Farrell: "I don't think it does. It was obviously a
roller-coaster ride during his recruitment. When kids go back and
forth like that, you always have to wonder if they're going to make it
or not.

"I said the same thing last year -- I'll say it right now -- about
Davonte Neal. No idea if he's going to make it. The way his
recruitment played out, it usually says a lot about either the kid or
the family. Tee Shepard I knew wouldn't work out, and Deontay
Greenberry, there was no way that was going to work out.
