The two-car crash just after 5 p.m. Friday at the S.R. 15/U.S. 20 intersection injured four children and one adult in the same vehicle. By Saturday afternoon, the adult and three children had been released from the hospital.

Driver, Laura Ryan, 28, of LaGrange, and three of the four children who were passengers in her car were treated and later released from Goshen General Hospital, according to a nursing supervisor. Those children, taken by ambulance to Goshen General were George Ryan, 7; Darwin Villalobos, 2; and Kitana Ryan, 9.

Nine-year-old Alia Villalobos, also a passenger in Laura Ryan's car, was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. A nursing supervisor told WSBT Saturday afternoon, the girl is no longer listed as a patient.

All children were using seat belts, as was the driver; the 2-year-old boy was in a child restraint seat, police said.

The other driver, Jacob Mitchell, 30, of Mishawaka, was not injured and was also wearing a seat belt, according to police.
