Moer than 200 workers from eastern Michigan, southern Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia and Oklahoma have either arrived or are en route to help local crews repair storm damage, according to David Mayne, I&M spokesman.

Cpany officials ask customers not to interrupt crews as that will slow down the repair time for all customers. Also, power restoration crews can not reconnect electric service to any house or business if the "service entrance" has been damaged.

"Service entrance" is the area at the meter, between the meter and electrical panel or the area where the utility company's cable connects to the residence or business owner's cable. If a "service entrance" area has been damaged at your location, a qualified electrician needs to repair the damage before the utility
