SOUTH BEND —
City police are searching for a man who robbed the Walgreens store on West Western Avenue Friday night of an undetermined amount of money.
Police said the man approached a clerk at a cash register shortly after 9 p.m. and handed her a note demanding she turn over all her money.
The clerk reported she didn’t see a weapon, but heard a clicking sound coming from the man’s pocket where he’d placed his hand.
After receiving the money, the robber ran into the parking lot.
