On Tuesday night the Goshen City Council approved a request from Supreme Industries for a tax abatement to expand and add more than 300 new jobs.
The company makes specialized truck bodies, trolleys, shuttle buses, and armored vehicles. Supreme Industries will use the tax abatement to help with a major expansion project.
“They're looking at investing $7 million in their facilities in Goshen, and that will result in increasing employment,” said Mark Brinson, community development director. “They are projecting 350 new jobs by 2015.”
Those new jobs will pay an average of $17 an hour. You can apply here.
