Investigators in Middlebury looking into several suspicious fires over the past several months say there were more early Sunday morning.
Police and firefighters were called to a vehicle and house fire at 53203 Hilltop Drive. While at the scene, a second fire was reported at a home at 53078 Hilltop Drive.
In May, a family of five lost their mobile home and another person's vehicle on Pine Cone Drive in fires officials called suspicious.
Back in late March there were three suspicious on the same morning: A vehicle fire at 53336 Palmetto Drive, a house fire at 53162 Palmetto Drive and a shed fire at 53245 Hilltop Drive.
Police, the Middlebury Fire Department and the state fire marshall’s office are investigating. If you have information, call the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department at (574) 533-4151.
