Suspect description: Male white, medium build, unshaven, wearing dark color hoodie, light blue baseball cap and sunglasses.
Anyone with information about the man or the robbery is asked to call New Carlisle Police Chief Jeff Roseboom at 574-654-3544.
Roseboom told WSBT a man walked up to a drive-thru teller about 9:45 a.m. and demanded money.
“He didn’t show a weapon, but the man implied he had a weapon,” Roseboom said. After the teller gave the robber an undetermined amount of money, “he walked out of sight.”
St. Joseph County Police K-9s were training nearby and Roseboom said they responded quickly to the scene and picked up a trail. Unfortunately, the K-9s lost the trail after a while without locating the suspect.
