Police say a man fired multiple shots into a car in South Bend Wednesday night, sending a stray bullet through the window of a nearby apartment.

It happened just after 8 p.m. in the 3500 block of Northside Boulevard. That's near Logan.

Police say the man took off running and the car left the scene in the opposite direction.

Police say no one has been arrested and no one was hurt.
