The state unemployment rate increased slightly, and every local county saw an increase when compared to May.
Statewide unemployment edged up to 8 from 7.9 percent.
The largest increases locally are in Pulaski and LaGrange County. They are at 7 and 7.9 percent respectively.
St. Joseph County Unemployment is now 9.3 percent. Elkhart County is 8.9 percent.
