MISHAWAKA – A section of Mishawaka’s busiest road was blocked to traffic early Sunday afternoon after an SUV hit a utility pole.
It happened shortly before 1 p.m. at Grape Road and Imus St., north of McKinley Ave.
Police were forced to stop traffic between Grape and Catalpa Dr.
Power lines were knocked down, and power was out in the immediate area, including an apartment complex.
Dispatch told WSBT nobody was taken to the hospital.
Officers on the scene expected Grape to be blocked to traffic 4 to 8 hours.
