Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police detectives have determined that a shooting early Friday morning in a Berrien Springs apartment was self-inflicted.
Police were sent to an apartment in the 9000 block of North Main Street just before 1 a.m. Friday, after receiving a report a person had been shot.
The person later died at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, according to a police news release.
