A native of West Brookfield, Mass., JT began his broadcasting career in Peterborough, New Hampshire in 1971. He's also been at stations in Worcester, Mass., Colorado, and Lebanon, Pa.. On December 29, 1975, he joined WSBT where he has hosted his JT In The Morning Show ever since.
Jon's marriage in 2000 to his wife Marilyn has given new sparkle to his already outgoing personality. Together, they enjoy a mutual love of American history, and traveling, especially to New England.
An avid sports fan, Jon's love for golf began at age six when his dad taught him the game. His interest in baseball was re-kindled several years ago - as an umpire. JT works an average of 100 games each season, ranging from high school to college. He's also filled in for the South Bend Silver Hawks on a number of occasions. You can also hear Jon's voice as the public address announcer for the University of Notre Dame Marching Band at Notre Dame football games.
