The Rob Becker play <em>Defending the Caveman </em>plays on this universal theme to get the laughs, and it'll be showing at Bridgeport's Downtown Cabaret Theatre, opening this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The star of the show, Paul Perroni, made a name for himself in Chicago theater, but has since relocated to New York where he played the role of DJ Johnny Hughes in the off-Broadway production of <em>The Awesome '80s Prom</em>. <strong>&nbsp;</strong>
