4. Learn to make Cambodian-Style Fish Amok Step-by-Step

Fish amok is a traditional Khmer or Cambodian dish. It's not only attractive but tastes and smells tempting. It's fish mixed with a coconut curry sauce and steamed in a boat made origami fashion from a banana leaf. The sauce firms up to form a rich, velvety custard layer over the seafood and napa cabbage. The banana leaf adds its own fragrance and flavor to the experience.

  16. Florida Beach Guide: Key Biscayne

<a href="http://www.keybiscayne.fl.gov/">Key Biscayne is a five-mile-long barrier island just off the coast of downtown Miami. Connected to the mainland by a causeway, it is a mostly natural island with an upscale town of about 11,500 people in the middle. Miamians looking for water come for the day, especially on weekends, but not many tourists come for vacation. Which makes it a good place for getting away from it all.

  22. There's flashy and there's friendly

Whenever I find myself in a place such as Miami, with palm trees, white-sand beaches, sun-glinting water, blue sky and puffy clouds, I look for a certain kind of establishment that I have come to think of — in my own way — as a classique tropique. My quintessential classique tropique — CT for short — features the following: a table with a view of the aforementioned palm trees, white-sand beaches etc.; a simple menu of seasonal specialties; something cool to drink; and a convivial local crowd. That's it. Give me these and I'm in paradise.
