  9. Carol DeVlieg Mulholland

    On January 11, 2011 Carol DeVlieg Mulholland lost her brief battle with cancer.  Carol was the middle child of Gerrit DeVlieg and Alice Berglind.  Born in Evanston, Illinois on July 25th, 1938, the family moved to Highland Park, Illinois where Carol graduated high school.  Carol attended the University of Miami of Ohio.  She then traveled with her dear friend to Philadelphia, PA where she was employed by General Electric and found the love of her life, Emerson (Dick) Richard Mulholland.  They married, and as Dick was promoted within the Ford Motor Company, Carol, Dick and their three children crisscrossed the United States until they finally settled in Newport Beach, California.
