  11. Green River Ordinance: Charmed by Birmingham, Ala.

Birmingham, Ala. was a surprisingly charming city. The weather was a bit warm, but nothing a bunch of Texas boys couldn't handle. For lunch, we had a delicious meal of Thai food at Surin West. The noodle dishes and pad thai were amazing, not too sweet or too spicy. Good date spot - made us all miss our wives.  It was located in the really fun Five Points South district of Birmingham. The area was very alive and full of people with some cool bars and good barbecue restaurants that I would love to check out on our next visit.
