  1. ACM Awards Adds Carrie Underwood.

    <strong></strong>Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Alabama, and Martina McBride have all been added as performers at this year&rsquo;s <em>ACM Awards</em>. Show hosts Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire will also perform during the show. Zac Brown Band will share the stage with James Taylor for a special performance as well. TV hosts Nancy O&rsquo;Dell and Ryan Seacrest will stop by to present awards. The <em>46<sup>th</sup> Annual ACM Awards</em> will air live on April 3<sup>rd</sup> beginning at 8 PM Eastern on <em>CBS</em>.&nbsp; Martina tweeted about the news saying, <em>&ldquo;So excited to be performing &lsquo;Teenage Daughters&rsquo; on [the ACM Awards] on April 3<sup>rd</sup>!&rdquo; </em>Also performing on the <em>ACM Awards </em>are <em>Entertainer of the Year</em> nominees Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.

    More stars, late night jams and behind-the-scenes interviews have been added to the special, <em>CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock</em>. Concert performances added to the lineup include Brad Paisley and Alabama, The Band Perry, Alan Jackson with the Zac Brown Band and a late-night jam session featuring Luke Byran, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. Previously announced performers on the special include Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and others. <em>CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock </em>airs Sunday, August 7<sup>th</sup> at 8PM Eastern on <em>ABC</em>.

  3. Trace Adkins Added to Special

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Trace Adkins has been added to the three-hour television special, <em>CMA Music Festival: Country&rsquo;s Night to Rock</em>, airing August 14<sup>th</sup> on <em>ABC</em>. As previously announced, the concert special will feature performances by Jason Aldean featuring Kelly Clarkson, The Band Perry, Sara Evans, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley with Alabama, Rascal Flatts and many more. The special will also feature Martina McBride with <em>American Idol</em> runner-up Lauren Alaina, along with Josh Turner with <em>Idol</em> winner Scotty McCreery. Shania Twain will also make an appearance. Tickets for the 2012 <em>CMA Music Festival </em>will go on sale this Saturday.</span>

  4. Sara Evans Celebrating Anniversary at Bama Rising

    Sara Evans is one of the many country stars taking the stage tonight for <em>Bama Rising</em>, a benefit concert organized by country super-group Alabama to aid tornado relief in their home state.&nbsp;A Birmingham resident, Sara says she&rsquo;s proud to join her friends to help her hometown on a day that&rsquo;s extra special for Sara and her husband Jay Barker. <em>&ldquo;I am so proud of country music for coming together and doing this benefit concert because everybody&rsquo;s donating their time and it&rsquo;s just a busy time of year for everybody. It just warms my heart that this is taking place.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s on our anniversary and Jay and I both saying, &lsquo;We can&rsquo;t think of a better way to spend our anniversary than to be helping.&rsquo;&rdquo;</em> Alabama, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler and Ashton Shepherd are among the artists joining Sara for the concert tonight at Birmingham&rsquo;s <em>BJCC Arena</em>.

  5. Trace Adkins Joins Disaster Concert

    <strong>Trace Adkins</strong> and <strong>Little Big Town</strong> have joined the lineup for <em>Music Builds: CMT Disaster Relief Concert</em> on Thursday, May 12<sup>th</sup>. Previously-announced performers include <strong>Hank Williams Jr.</strong>, <strong>Alabama</strong>, <strong>Ronnie Dunn</strong>, <strong>Sara Evans</strong>, <strong>Alan Jackson</strong>, <strong>Lady Antebellum</strong>, <strong>Tim McGraw</strong> and <strong>Keith Urban</strong>. <em>ESPN </em>reporter <strong>Erin Andrews</strong>, <em>HLN</em> anchor <strong>Robin Meade</strong> and comedian <strong>Ron White</strong> will serve as co-hosts. Filmed without a studio audience, the special will air live from Nashville at 9PM Eastern on <em>CMT </em>and streamed live on <em>CMT.com</em>. All money raised will benefit the <em>American Red Cross</em> disaster relief efforts for people affected by the recent devastating storms, floods and tornadoes.

  6. Kenny Chesney Donating Proceeds

    Kenny Chesney&rsquo;s <em>Goin&rsquo; Coastal</em> tour is about to give back in a major way. The country superstar was scheduled to take his massive show to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 25<sup>th </sup>when out of the blue, a devastating tornado ravaged the city just weeks ago.&nbsp;Despite the damage, Kenny assures fans that not only will the show go on, but he will donate the show&rsquo;s proceeds to disaster relief in the area.&nbsp; <em>&ldquo;Well we&rsquo;ve been playing the Keg In The Closet shows in Tuscaloosa for years at the Jupiter Bar and Grill.&nbsp; We&rsquo;ve got a lot of friends down there, and the heart of the country is with everybody who&rsquo;s dealing with this tragedy.&nbsp; And I&rsquo;m thrilled and we&rsquo;re thrilled that all the money from this show will stay in the community of Tuscaloosa, and we&rsquo;re looking really forward to doing the show.&rdquo;</em><em>&nbsp;</em>The proceeds will be donated to <em>GiveTuscaloosa.com</em>, an organization created to specifically assist the city and its residents in their recovery from the deadly storms.

    Brad Paisley kicks off the <em>H20 II:&nbsp;Wetter and Wilder</em> tour tonight in Virginia Beach, Virginia.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s no secret that Brad is known as the &ldquo;King of Pranks&rdquo; on tour.&nbsp;But, the &ldquo;Old Alabama&rdquo; singer may be regretting a rotten prank he pulled on Blake Shelton in their early years, now that Blake is on his tour.<em>&nbsp;</em> <em>&ldquo;I went on his bus and said, &lsquo;How ya doin&rsquo;?&rsquo; He said, &lsquo;Good.&rsquo; I just went over there to see him. And while I was standing there, I had an air freshener, one of those stick-up air fresheners, and stuck it, twisted it open.&nbsp;We&rsquo;d replaced the contents with raw chicken&hellip;as opposed to an air freshener&hellip;I feel bad about that now&hellip;but I&rsquo;m ready.
