14. Williams will challenge Beshear for governor in November

Lincoln County voters were right in line with voters across the Commonwealth Tuesday, voting with the crowd in seven out of eight races in the Kentucky primary election. County Clerk Sonny Spoonamore said turnout was light; about 10 percent of the county’s registered voters turned out to the polls on a cold, rainy day to cast thier votes to see who represent their parties in the general election. This, too, was in keeping with statewide results which showed less than one in ten registered voters participated in the election.
