3. Coffee Companion (11/1): your daily Ravens fix

Every morning, Monday through Friday, blogger Matt Vensel will hook you up with reading material -- mostly on the Ravens but with some other Baltimore sports stuff, too -- to skim through as you slug down coffee and slack off at the start of your workday. That way he’ll have an excuse to do the same to start his workday, too.

5. Sorry Chargers, fans owe nothing to their NFL teams

Do fans owe their support to teams? It's a question frequently debated on great sports talk shows (such as, oh I don't know, say The Beat of Sports, hosted by Marc Daniels from 9 a.m. to noon weekdays on 740 the Game). Bill Johnston thinks so. Who's...

7. On emotional afternoon, Colts rally to stun Packers

INDIANAPOLIS - A type of indoor fall foliage consisted of a scattering of blue, hints of green, along with shades of pink and orange.

9. Packers stunned by their latest loss

None of the players resorted to the mock cry of "Houston, we have a problem."
None of the players resorted to the mock cry of "Houston, we have a problem." Yet, as the Packers get ready to travel to "Space City USA" this weekend, they have been misfiring too much a month into the season. "We're not the same team as last year,...

Opening Statement: “(It’s a) tough place to play in Green Bay at Lambeau Field. I almost think if you win that game it should count as two wins. I know you have visited with Aaron (Kromer) already today and he talked a little about that. Having said that, I am disappointed that defensively we weren’t able to limit them to one less touchdown. That’s really the way I wrap it up. The one that sticks out is the second quarter drive where it began on the eight yard line and we did have them stopped but they had the fake punt and got it back. Then we had two penalties after that that kept the ball going for them - a face mask and a holding. Anytime you give a good football team extra yards with penalties that hurts.

If the NFL really wanted to back up all its big talk about parity, it would’ve made Josh McCown quarterback the Packers.

23. With Derrick Mason gone, the Ravens get a chance to upgrade
