  23. POLICE DOCUMENTS: BRENT'S BLOOD ALCOHOL MORE THAN TWICE LEGAL LIMIT

    The blood alcohol level of Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent was more than the twice the legal limit at the time of the Dec. 8 automobile accident that killed his friend and teammate Jerry Brown Jr., according to police documents released late Thursday. Brent was also driving with a suspended license, according to the documents, which cite speed, alcohol and swerving as contributing factors in the crash... For the second straight season, the Eagles have fallen extremely short of preseason expectations, this time putting them on course to finish with a 4-12 record, the worst of coach Andy Reid&rsquo;s 14-year career, which is in obvious jeopardy. Nick Fierro will have that story in Saturday's print and online editions of The Morning Call ... The NHL has presented its Players' Association with a new labor contract proposal, multiple sources confirmed Friday morning...
