Steven Tyler National Anthem: Star Sings At AFC Championship Game
![<a class="runtimeTopic" href="#">Steven Tyler</a> sang the National Anthem at Sunday's AFC Championship game. It probably wasn't his best work. The Aerosmith frontman struggled a bit throughout his pre-game rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner," singing with a raspier-than-normal voice through Francis Scott Key's iconic patriotic tune. He had trouble hitting the signature high note, which is a far cry from his heralded days leading one of the biggest bands of the 70s and 80s. As a judge on "American Idol," who decides if singers have the chops to make it big, the performance probably won't do him any favors when it comes to handing down the fate of aspiring artists.
