  1. UK Football: Demarco Robinson admits 'loss hurts a lot'

LEXINGTON - Sophomore Demarco Robinson had seven catches for 75 yards and three punt returns for 28 yards against Western Kentucky Saturday for his most productive game at Kentucky. However, the Wildcats still lost 32-31 in overtime and Robinson was one of the players who met with the media after the game to try and explain the loss as well as UK’s 1-2 start going into the beginning of Southeastern Conference play Saturday at No. 14 Florida:

  3. Vaught's Views: Is Joker Phillips really holding arrested football players accountable by reinstating them so soon after marijuana bust?

About 48 hours before Kentucky lost to Western Kentucky, three UK¿players were cited for marijuana possession. One was starting junior running Raymond Sanders. Another was redshirt freshman receiver Bookie Cobbins, who missed part of spring practice for academic reasons. The third was sophomore cornerback Marcus Caffey, who was slated to be a starter before being declared academically ineligible for the season.

  7. UK Football: WKU coach Willie Taggart says Hilltoppers have the ability to beat Kentucky

LEXINGTON — From what Western Kentucky coach Willie Taggart has seen of Kentucky, he’s convinced “their offense is a lot better” than last year and that “people are not giving Joker (Phillips)” enough credit for the team he’s put together this year.

  9. Vaught's Views: UK's numbers will not scare Western Kentucky

Kentucky’s 47-14 victory over Kent State included a lot of impressive numbers for the Wildcats as UK had the Southeastern Conference passing yardage leader (Maxwell Smith, 354), rushing yardage leader (Raymond Sanders, 115) and receptions leader (Aaron Boyd, 11) in games played Saturday — something that I can never remember happening before.

  23. Father, sons and football: Thanksgiving for Harbaugh family at M&T Bank Stadium

Every Tuesday morning during football season, a few minutes before the clock in his living room hits 10 a.m., Jack Harbaugh will step out his front door and soak up the cool air as he stands on his porch in Mequon, Wisc. Try as he might, he cannot resist fidgeting. Every few minutes, he'll glance up the street, eager to spot the FedEx truck the moment it materializes.
