  3. Sandusky prosecution changes date of alleged assault witnessed by McQueary

    The most damning account of an alleged assault by Jerry Sandusky, the one allegedly witnessed first-hand by another Penn State coach in the showers inside the Lasch Football Building, and led directly to the firing of the school's legendary football coach, its Athletic Director and Vice President, led to charges being filed against the latter two for perjury and failure to report a crime, has had a drastic change of timeline by the prosecution. In a motion filed this morning, the prosection has changed the time of the alleged assault on "Victim 2" by 13 months, from March of 2002 to February 9th, 2001.

  7. Breaking News: Sandusky attorney asks for continuance

    UPDATE: Just hours before a pre-trial motions hearing in the Jerry Sandusky case, defense attorney Joe Amendola has filed a motion asking the judge in the case for a continuance.  In a 13 page motion, Amendola sites new evidence, lack of compliance from the 40 subpoenas sent to get more information and some unavailable and unwilling witnesses.  He has not specifically asked Judge John Cleland for an amount of time or date for the delay.
