1. ASK IRA: Is too much being asked of LeBron?

Q: Did the Heat run out of steam Friday night or was it just a case of LeBron James trying to do too much? -- Chet.
South Florida Sun Sentinel
Q: Did the Heat run out of steam Friday night or was it just a case of LeBron James trying to do too much? -- Chet. A: The issue is that LeBron had to do too much, with Dwyane Wade in a diminished state and Chris Bosh for too long in a passive state....

3. James' 36 not enough, Heat fall 97-93 to Pacers

LeBron James gave it everything. And still more was required.
South Florida Sun Sentinel
LeBron James gave it everything. And still more was required. This time, he wound up as something less than hero, with a pair of critical late turnovers. These Indiana Pacers aren't going anywhere, especially with the next two games of...

5. Indiana trumps LeBron in Game 2

It was somewhere between a LeBron drive, a LeBron dunk, a LeBron block, a LeBron rebound, a LeBron winning jump ball – yes, he even won a jump ball against 7-foot-2 Roy Hibbert – that a voice said the scary truth for the first time:...

7. ASK IRA: Could Wade become a liability?

Q: Hey Ira, after watching Game 4, I think it is time to shut down Dwyane Wade for the rest of the playoffs. He is completely useless out there with that knee. The Heat have enough depth around LeBron James and Chris Bosh to win a championship. Your thoughts? -- Shawn.

9. ASK IRA: Can Heat afford Cole down the road?

Q: To keep the core together, the Heat will need to minimize role-player salary. Is Norris Cole playing himself out of their market as a bench player at the same time he is proving himself indispensable to the team? Is next season the last the Heat retain his exclusive rights? -- Jonah, Fort Lauderdale

11. ASK IRA: Does "position-less" fail against Bulls?

Q: Not to completely overreact after one loss, but does the "position-less" approach not work as well against the Bulls? The main benefit of "position-less" is to space the floor and create chances at the rim or corner 3-poiners, and the Bulls do a great job of taking those away. If the advantage of having shooters on offense is neutralized, anyway, wouldn't it make sense to put better defense and rebounding on the floor? The Heat did handily beat a Bulls team with Derrick Rose two years ago, using a traditional lineup. And now you have Birdman, Ray Allen, Shane Battier and Norris Cole in the rotation instead of Joel Anthony and Mike Bibby. -- Adrian.

13. Udonis Haslem's best shot making a difference for Heat

It is a game of truth-or-dare that often can define the Miami Heat's offense and certainly delineate Udonis Haslem's scoring success.
South Florida Sun Sentinel
It is a game of truth-or-dare that often can define the Miami Heat's offense and certainly delineate Udonis Haslem's scoring success. If the mid-range jumper is true, the offense not only opens up for the 10th-year power forward, but the rest of...

17. ASK IRA: Is Jason Collins a Heat option?

Q: Ira, when Jason Collins announced that he was gay, it got me thinking about the major impact he could have on a team like, say, the Heat. Collins has long been known as being a great teammate and heavy positive influence in the locker room. And at 34, he's got a few more years left in the tank, and may be a bargain at a minimum salary. Not to mention that I can't think of a place that would be more welcoming to Collins than the city of Miami. It would be a win-win for both parties. Any thoughts? -- Bobby, Lincoln, Neb.

19. Roll with it: Birdman setting hair-raising screens

It must be the hair.
South Florida Sun Sentinel
It must be the hair. Although the hands and the hustle certainly help. Playing pick-and-roll basketball with LeBron James isn't as exotic as it sounds. It usually means bumping into a sinewy defensive specialist and then having to be...

21. ASK IRA: How much of a concern is Wade's knee?

Q: How concerned should we be that Dwyane Wade claims he's "not even close" to feeling 100 percent physically? Does he think he's going to get stronger as the playoffs progress? Or is this going to be a similar scenario to last year's playoffs? -- Jake
