    Wichita fought back to tie the game early in the third period, only to falter for the second-straight contest in a shootout, losing 2-1 to the Tulsa Oilers on Friday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. Jarred Mohr recorded his third of the season while both goaltenders, Torrie Jung of Wichita and Shane Madolora of Tulsa, stole the show with their terrific performances. Wichita is 5-2-2 this season against the Oilers this and won't see Tulsa until March 9th. The Oilers victory pushes their winning streak to five games while the Thunder have collected at least a point in their last seven.

    RG Flath came into the season looking to record three separate milestones. Before the weekend, he had reached two of those and was looking to complete the trifecta. His two-goal performance along with three power play tallies paced the Thunder (23-14-3) to a 5-4 victory over Tulsa (11-26-3) on Sunday afternoon at the BOK Center. Flath's second goal was his 100th of his career and also finished with three points on the night. Wichita improves to 5-2-0 against the Oilers this season and has another trip to Tulsa at the beginning of February.

    Wichita (21-14-3) returned home for the first time in two weeks, but couldn't hold onto a third period lead and fell 4-2 to the Tulsa Oilers (11-24-3) on Friday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. Matt Robinson scored his first of the season since coming back to Wichita while Andrew Martens recorded two assists in the losing effort. Wichita leads the season-series 3-2-0 and will play the next two games in Tulsa. With the loss, Wichita has dropped its last three contests and will look to change things with its first trip this weekend to the BOK Center.
