Richard Lynn "Rick" Scott (b. December 2, 1952) is an American businessman, former health care industry executive, attorney, founder of Conservatives for Patients' Rights and the Governor-elect of Florida. Scott defeated Democrat Alex Sink in a close race in the 2010 Florida gubernatorial election.
