    Anywhere from 2% to 4% of children suffer from Scoliosis. The condition usually develops during the adolescent growth spurt and causes a curve of the spine to one direction or the other. Symptoms are not usually easy to recognize and are often caught during school screenings. &quot;You might notice one shoulder sticking up higher than the other.
