    Thomas R. Hay, 61, Riggs Road, Lincoln Township, died May 25, 2013, at home. Born Jan. 28, 1952, in Somerset, son of Clarence R. and Nancy J. (Riggs) Hay. Preceded in death by parents; niece, Hope Lohr; mother and father-in-law, Esther and Don DeVine; nephew, Scott DeVine; and sister-in-law, Sharon King. Survived by wife, the former Joyce DeVine; daughter, Krisi, married to Mike Gindlesperger, Laurel, Md.; son, Bryan, married to Heather Hartge, Jenner Township; and the light of his life and love of his world, grandsons, Gavin and Brody Gindlesperger. Brother of Robert K., married to Marianne Dickey, Lincoln Township; Sandra J., married to Michael Horner, Johnstown; Ruth A., married to Cecil Lohr, Quemahoning Township; and Randy L., married to Trena Sipe, Lincoln Township. Also survived by in-laws, Fred and Kathy DeVine, Bonnie and Ken Mosley, Bob and Jayne DeVine, Steve King, Wanda and Ollie Shaffer, Ernie and Karen DeVine, and Donna DeVine and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A 1969 graduate of Somerset Area High School. Member of Zion Hoffman Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ironworkers Local No. 3, UMWA and Ferndale Sportsmen Club. Had 44 years' service with Riggs Industries where he was currently general manager of Lincoln Contracting and Equipment. An avid boater, hunter, camper and ATV and snowmobile rider. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home  & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell.
