    Acetaminophen, it's probably in your medicine cabinet. It's commonly used in drugs like Tylenol, Midol and Nyquil to treat pain and fever. Today, an FDA panel recommended making doses of a thousand milligrams by prescription only, and lowering the over the counter or non-prescription single dose to 650 milligrams. The panel is also recommending lowering the maximum daily dose from 4,000 milligrams.
