    The manager of the Best Smoke Shop and his son are under arrest, charged with dealing synthetic marijuana. Mohammed Asharaf Veriatch, 49, and his son Usman Asharaf Veriatch, 20, who works as a clerk at the store, were arrested after police served a search warrant at the business and siezed 261 packets of synthetic marijuana and 350 items of drug parphernalia, including smoking devices, digital scales and metal grinders. The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the sale of synthetic marijuana at convenience stores in Adams County. In March, authorities made a similar siezure at another store operated by Mohammed Asharaf Veriatch in Littlestown.
