Will Smith has had a mostly steady career in music and movies since breaking onto the scene in the 1980s as the Fresh Prince. As a student growing up in West Philadelphia, Smith teamed up with friend Jeff Townes and formed DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. The group's biggest hit was "Parents Just Don't Understand," which earned them the first Grammy for Best Rap Performance. Smith went on to star in NBC's "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air," which was loosely based on his life. He also met his wife Jada Pinkett through the show. With so many summer blockbusters under his belt, including "Independence Day" and "Men in Black," Fourth of July weekend has been nicknamed Big Willie Weekend. Smith shows his range in more dramatic films such as "Six Degrees of Separation," "Ali" and "The Pursuit of Happyness." He has received Oscar nominations for "Ali" and "Happyness."  « Show less

  1. Grammy Crasher Faces Jail Time

<span style=&quot;font-size: small;">A few minutes on stage with Adele may cost Grammy Awards crasher Vitalii Sediuk six months in jail. Sediuk, who also kissed Will Smith at a Men In Black 3 premiere in 2012, has been officially charged for the incident. If convicted, he could be hit with a $1,000 fine or a jail sentencebe. "The safety and protection of both participants and attendees of major events held in this city is a priority of my office," L.A. City Attorney Carmen Trutanich said in a statement (via E! News.) "In this age of heightened security, any person who intentionally crosses that line and acts in an irresponsible manner will be held accountable for his or her actions." Back in February, the Ukrainian TV host managed to make it all the way to the Grammy stage and even said a few words before presenter Jennifer Lopez took action. "It's such an honor to receive this award," he said to the audience as Adele, 24, made her way up to accept the award for Best Pop Solo Artist. "I love you, Adele." He was later arrested on suspicion of trespassing. Lopez's rep reacted to the on-stage incident, telling ETonline, "Like Adele said, [Lopez] is her 'good luck charm.'"</span>

  5. Movie Review: Men in Black 3's Will Smith Is Still Fresh When Battling Aliens in the Past

<strong>Review in a Hurry:</strong> When his partner K is erased from history, Agent J must time travel to 1960s New York to save him and prevent an alien invasion. The series returns with great eye candy, good 3-D and more sci-fi comedy hijinks. <strong><a class=&quot;name" href="http://www.eonline.com/celebs/Will_Smith/117318">Will Smith</a></strong> is funny, but <strong><a class="name" href="http://www.eonline.com/celebs/Josh_Brolin/113055">Josh Brolin</a></strong> as young Agent K is so exceptional at mimicking the tight-lipped <strong><a class="name" href="http://www.eonline.com/celebs/Tommy_Lee/116919">Tommy Lee</a> Jones</strong> that he steals the show. If only the story had unforgettable moments. Or have we been neuralized?
