3. Movie review: 'Wish You Were Here' an intriguing vacation-gone-wrong thriller

The Aussie import "Wish You Were Here" offers a distinctive, highly effective take on the vacation-from-hell thriller. First-time director Kieran Darcy-Smith, working from a powerful script he wrote with wife — and the film's co-star — Felicity Price, so consistently tightens the screws on the unfolding events you can practically hear the irrevocable twists.

  9. 'Warm Bodies'

One couple - a zombie and a human, played by Nicholas Hoult ("Jack the Giant Slayer") and Teresa Palmer - could be the key to restoring the world from a rampage of the undead in this satire of a genre, played unusually straight for something of its...

  11. Stylists make the red carpet sizzle at Oscars

It's a pretty good bet that when stars arrive on the Oscar red carpet Sunday they'll be wearing clothes, jewelry and accessories selected with the help of a fashion stylist. And fans are more aware than ever that their idols don't create their looks alone.

Walter Hill is no stranger to sophisticated action-adventure movies. He has directing, screenwriting or producer credits on "Alien," "48 Hrs." and "Last Man Standing." But you can't expect he would have any subtle variations on the action theme with a...

  17. 'Warm Bodies' star Analeigh Tipton helps bring zombie movie to life

  19. New zombie film takes warming up to

Marketed as a zombie love story, “Warm Bodies” is so far-fetched that I couldn’t quite suspend my disbelief for its 97 minutes to really enjoy it. Nicholas Hoult (MTV’s “Skins”) plays zombie R. Since the zombie...

  21. 'Warm Bodies' as stiff and slow as its zombies

“God we move slow,” would be the most the apt analysis of the “Warm Bodies” characters and plotline. While Director Jonathan Levine makes a valiant effort to create a film based on an intriguing concept – with the...

  23. Film review: Zombie-themed 'Warm Bodies' storyline just lukewarm

I have to admit that it was a great decision to release a movie called "Warm Bodies" in February. The title makes for a terrific invitation to get out of the cold and into a theater. If the film were called "Warm Bodies Wrapped up in Snuggly Blankets and Drinking Rich Hot Cocoa," it would really be unstoppable. Maybe if there's a sequel.
