    <em>American Idol </em>finalists Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery will each perform three songs tonight on <em>FOX</em>. Lauren and Scotty will perform a song they&rsquo;ve picked as their favorite from this season, their debut single, chosen for them by the <em>Idol</em> producers and they&rsquo;ll each perform a song picked by their own personal idols. Carrie Underwood will choose a song for Lauren and George Strait will pick a song for Scotty. <em>American Idol</em> airs tonight at 8PM Eastern with the season finale taking place Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern on <em>FOX</em>.

  2. Scotty and Lauren Perform For Idol Title

    <em>American Idol</em> finalists Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery brought a little country to their final performances on the show. Scotty kicked off the night performing his favorite song from the season, Montgomery Gentry&rsquo;s &ldquo;Gone&rdquo;. Lauren chose Carrie Underwood&rsquo;s &ldquo;Flat on the Floor&rdquo; for her round-one song. In the next round, songs were picked by the finalists&rsquo; personal idols. George Strait suggested his own song, &ldquo;Check Yes Or No&rdquo; for Scotty while Carrie Underwood picked Pam Tillis&rsquo; &ldquo;Maybe It Was Memphis&rdquo; for Lauren. For the last round, Scotty and Lauren performed the songs that would be their first single if voted the <em>American Idol</em> champion. Scotty&rsquo;s song is called &ldquo;I Love You This Big,&rdquo; while Lauren&rsquo;s debut single is &ldquo;Like My Mother Does&rdquo;. Find out who will be crowned the next <em>American Idol</em> during the live finale tonight at 8PM Eastern on <em>FOX</em>. <em>Idol </em>judge Steven Tyler is scheduled to perform along with this season&rsquo;s top 13 and some unannounced special guests.

    Millions watched as Tim McGraw sang alongside Scotty McCreery during <em>American Idol</em>&rsquo;s finale week and although Tim is a fan of the show, he says he&rsquo;d never do reality TV. When asked if he would have ever been on a show like <em>Idol</em> in his younger years, Tim told the <em>Hollywood Reporter</em>, <em>&ldquo;Heck no.&rdquo;</em> He admitted that if he was starting out today, he&rsquo;d probably <em>&ldquo;go to college and stay there,&rdquo; </em>adding <em>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s tough right now.&rdquo;</em>
